Current Projects

Christie and Christie Ltd are currently working on a variety of development and implementation projects and these are listed below.

Development of 14-19 Specialised Diplomas

This project involves the development of a new specialised diploma for the Health, Social Care, Children and the Justice sector workforce. Specialised diplomas are being introduced by the Government as part of their qualification reforms for 14 -19 year olds. Christie and Christie Ltd have been commissioned to help with the design of this new specialised diploma. The project involves joint working across Skills for Care and the Children’s Workforce Development Council as part of Skills for Care and Development, Skills for Health and Skills for Justice. Integrated Competence Framework

The review and development of an integrated competency framework for the justice sector. This work is being carried out with Skills for Justice, the sector skills council for the justice sector. It includes up-dating activities concerned with NIM and PIP.

Workforce Planning

A small piece of work to up-date and revise a suite of competences developed on behalf of National Workforce Projects and Skills for Health. The work includes revising and ‘levelling’ the knowledge and understanding required for these competences.

Health Informatics

The development of interactive CD-Rom and web sites to support the implementation and use of the Health Informatics National Occupational Standards. In addition, a health informatics qualifications finder has been developed to facilitate access to a diverse range of qualifications currently available to practitioners in the health informatics field. This work has been carried out on behalf of the Health and Social Care Information Centre and Skills for Health.
