About Christie and Christie Ltd

Christie and Christie Ltd specialise in the research, development and implementation of competence based approaches to training and development. The company has developed a wide range of products, including: national occupational standards, qualifications, competency frameworks, assessment strategies, key and core skills guidance, good practice guides and professional development materials.

The company consists of two senior consultants and a research and development consultant. During the past few years the majority of our work has been with the following sectors: health and social care, land and environment, environmental management, local and central government, police, youth justice, property services, housing, and scientific and technical occupations. Much of our work is undertaken on behalf of Sector Skills Councils (SSCs). However, we have also carried out development projects for Government Departments, Professional Bodies, Awarding Bodies, Higher Education providers, Regulatory Bodies and voluntary organisations.

In all our work we aim to establish positive and professional relationships with our clients that are supportive of their needs. Our track record also demonstrates an ability to generate practical solutions to complex problems, in a manner that the field can readily apply.
